I got this e-mail by a Romanian idiot trying to sell me a Palmer Johnson’s Dragon. What in God’s name was he thinking? Not only do I not have the cash lying around I seriously wouldn’t buy it from someone trying to sell a couple million worth of yacht with a sales letter written by an infant, would I?

Oh well — for entertainment purposes:

One of the biggest dreams of many people today, is to have their own yacht. Although there are only few people, who can spend money for such a luxury, the yachts are bought every single day. Some customers are not very pretentious with this, even if they have money, while others want to have only the latest models on the market- even to collect them!

One of the last modern tendencies shows that one of the best brands of yachts is the “Dragon” of Palmer Johnoson. According to the collectors, for them, this is the true dream yacht! The design is just wonderful and impressive- outside and inside. This yacht turns into classic today.

The connoisseurs say that it can be accepted as a “Mona Lisa” of the yachts. This is the best yacht of Palmer Johnson. He had many other yachts shown at world competitions and shows- for instance his Waverunner in Monaco and Cannes. However, the Dragon is one of the most beautiful and comfortable yachts in the world today. With its fast speed, attractive colors shape and design, the Dragon is a yacht that many can only dream about, but it’s a real pleasure even if you can just see it!

It’s still a nice yacht though…

American Yacht manufacturer Palmer Johnson has decided to open a construction facility in the UK, bringing well over 500 jobs to the area. With their plans to build a a 20,000 square metre facility that will have the capacity to build vessels up to 100m long, Palmer Johnson is showing their belief in the future of luxury boating.

The first yachts should be sailing out of the UK facility somewhere in 2011 .

A Palmer spokesman said: “For a period of time, Palmer Johnson will be operating a twin location facility. Once the new factory is fully operational in Woolston the existing facility in Hythe could be used to increase production, or to manufacture new ranges. All options will be continually reviewed, in a fast evolving market.”

(this one’s a work in progress, I promise! )
