If you have ever heard of Richard Branson, even if you only glimpsed him in an interview or on a show, then you quite likely know one of the defining features of his personality: he likes to live big. He is an adventurer of the highest caliber, not to mention rich as Croesus. As such, you would likely expect him to have not just a luxury yacht, but a veritable super yacht – and you would be right. Sir Richard Branson’s yacht of choice is a huge sailing catamaran. It is large and luxurious but naturally capable of speed. The Virgin Records mogul loves to be on the water, so it is thus no wonder that his yacht also offers all the comforts of home – if your home happens to be a beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable mansion, of course.

With this yacht, Sir Branson can invite as many as ten guests to board and spend the night on his decadent, beautiful catamaran. Of course, when he is busy trying to break trans Atlantic sailing records, he likely does not have all that much time to entertain his guests.

Joe Vittoria has one bad-ass boat. Actually, the single-masted sailing yacht is assumed to be the most expensive and most exclusive private-owned yacht in the world. The Mirabella V is pretty extreme: a 90m-high mast, 247 ft in length, and up for hire for only $375,000 per week in the high season (drops $50k in the low season, BARGAIN!!).

More info is on the official website — well worth a look. It also has quite a bunch of pics. Enjoy!
